Salary $70,000 - $90,000 + DOE, annually

Overview :
Credit Services opened in 1999 as a locally owned agency dedicated to providing a high level of service to clients and consumers. A decade later we grew into a 100% employee owned company, providing financial benefit to all employee-owners through the profitability of the company. We are looking for a Collection Division Manager to join our company.

Collection Division Manager will plan, coordinate and lead the activities of the Collections department. The primary functions of this position include:

- Ensure collection staff at all levels has the tools needed to perform their functions.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of manager, supervisor, collector, and legal department goals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations governing third-party debt collection, including FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA, UDAAP, ECOA, SCRA, TCPA, EFTA, GBLA and more.
- Direct and coordinate collection department activities including hiring, training, production, and all stages of the employment cycle.
- Provide motivation, leadership, and encouragement to ensure department quotas are met.
- Meet assigned goals. Review and analyze data to assist CEO in forecasting collection recovery dollars.
- Present reports to the Board of Directors, maintaining open communication and disclosure of the conditions, operations, and needs of the collection department.
- Review production and activity reports, financial statements, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement, and identify, develop, and implement programs for improvement as necessary.

- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency; technical capacity and ability to learn and implement relevant industry-specific technology and software.

This job operates in a professional office environment and is a full-time regular, exempt position onsite at our location in Anchorage, Alaska. The core schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm, but will require time outside of that schedule.

Requirements :
- Five years management experience in the financial sector with at least one in the credit/collections field
2+ years of supervisory/management experience of 5 or more employees and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional experience in a production-based position with daily, weekly and monthly goals as well as commission/bonus-related incentive familiarity helpful
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field helpful but not required.
