Job Description Job specifications are intended to present a

within the job. SUMMARY The Property Intern will support the
routine and daily work of the Property Management office with
special attention to the residential office data entry. Duties may
include: answering calls, filing documents, entering data into
property management software, maintain and clean office and common
areas, and other duties as assigned. Work may involve
responsibility for office duties with little direct supervision,
although work is subject to inspection while in progress or upon
completion. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (May vary by
work site) * Assist with the overall management of the properties.
* Coordinate vendor or service provider activity * Keep common
areas clean by sweeping, vacuuming and spot cleaning walls as
necessary. * Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs.
* Other duties may be assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities None
Required Skills Education and Experience Must have a high school
diploma or equivalent. Office work experience (preferred).
Knowledge Must have the knowledge of methods, practices, equipment
and material used in a residential setting and office work.
Knowledge of how to properly use office computers and other office
equipment. Skills and Abilities Must have the ability to work
harmoniously with maintenance employees, tenants, the general
public and property management staff. Must understand and follow
oral and written instructions to perform routine operations
involved in regular office duties. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Essential
and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition
necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for
prolonged periods of time. On occasion there may be a need to move
or lift moderate light items to 35 pounds. Near visual acuity to
review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech
at normal room levels and on the telephone; manual dexterity to
operate a telephone at times; lift horizontally and vertically.
WORK ENVIRONMENT This position requires working in vacant units,
common areas, building office setting and occasional driving. There
may be times that will require working out of doors in extreme
heat/cold and possibly rainy weather. ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug
screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background
