Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Responsibilities Develop and
maintain cost-effective processes and procedures. Advocate and
implement the highest quality standards and LEAN principles. Assess
and communicate technical specifications to all departments.
Provide design for manufacturability feedback to appropriate
audiences. Identify and complete continuous improvement projects.
Create and coordinate engineering studies. Assist in the
development of tool design and CNC programming. Design and
implement fixtures. Create and modify BOM/BOO routings within the
ERP system using change control processes. Assist with costing and
quoting functions. Resolve daily manufacturing issues per LEAP
structure. Maintain documentation for engineering changes and
manufacturing processes. Coordinate measurement methods with
quality programmers and engineers. Maintain machining and secondary
operational processes. Essential Skills 3 years of experience in
medical device machining/manufacturing. Proficiency in process and
continuous improvement. ERP system management experience.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
Proficiency in tooling, SolidWorks, CNC programming, tooling
design, BOM generation, and machining processes. Experience with
CNC Swiss and CNC milling. Knowledge of fixture design and Lean Six
Sigma methodologies. Understanding of ISO standards. Additional
Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or an
associate degree with 4 years of relevant experience. Experience
with CAD software. Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment,
especially Word and Excel. Effective written and verbal
communication skills. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Experience in the design and selection of fixturing and tooling for
complex parts is preferred. Experience in a precision machine shop
environment is preferred. LEAN / Six Sigma training and
demonstrated application is preferred. Experience with CAM
software, particularly Swiss or Milling, is preferred. Experience
working within an ISO environment is preferred. Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Big Lake, MN. Pay and
Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 -
