Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists
(SLPs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to work
onsite within a school district setting in Chugiak, AK, for the
2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract position offers a
consistent schedule and the chance to support student communication
development in an educational environment. Location: Chugiak,
Alaska Type: Full-time Contract Schedule: August 14, 2026 - May 27,
2027 | 40 hours per week (8.5 hours daily with a 30-minute unpaid
lunch) Caseload: Approximately two schools, primarily elementary
sites, with an average of 47 students Key Responsibilities: Provide
speech-language therapy services to students within school settings
Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and
implement therapy to support speech and language development
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to
support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and
records in compliance with education and licensure requirements
Qualifications: Current Alaska Certification and licensure as an
SLP or SLP Assistant Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
preferred for SLPs Experience working within a school environment
is highly valued Strong communication and interpersonal skills to
effectively engage students and school staff This role requires
onsite presence with no remote work options available, providing
