Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language
Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for the 2026-2027 school year
in Eagle River, AK. This full-time, onsite position involves
working within a school setting to support students communication
development. Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy
services to students across approximately two elementary schools.
Manage a caseload averaging 47 students, addressing a variety of
speech and language disorders. Collaborate with educators and staff
to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintain accurate
documentation and progress reports in compliance with school
policies. Participate in team meetings and support school-wide
initiatives related to speech and language development.
Qualifications: Valid Alaska state certification and licensure as
an SLP or SLPA. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
for SLPs. Experience in school-based speech-language pathology.
Ability to work onsite full-time with no remote or VOCO options.
