Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic
opportunity is available for Occupational Therapists specializing
in school-based services, located in Eagle River, Alaska. This
contract position requires an in-person commitment, serving a full
caseload of approximately 1000 minutes (16 hours) of student
contact per week, making it an excellent fit for therapists
passionate about supporting student achievement within educational
settings. Key Qualifications and Experience: Occupational Therapist
with experience and skills tailored to schools or school-based
occupational therapy. Active Alaska licensure is mandatory;
candidates with AK certification are preferred. Ability to deliver
therapy services in-person; remote work will not be considered at
this stage. Experience managing a caseload with approximately 37.5
hours per week availability during the school year. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively
with students, educators, and families. Location: The position is
based onsite in Eagle River, AK, offering the unique experience of
working within the Alaska educational system and community.
Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to
students within the school environment. Develop, implement, and
monitor individualized treatment plans that support students'
academic and functional success. Collaborate with multidisciplinary
teams, including educators and parents, to integrate therapy goals
with classroom activities. Maintain accurate documentation and
