ABM, a leader in comprehensive facility solutions, is seeking a dedicated Floor Tech to join our dynamic Facilities & Maintenance team. This role is crucial in maintaining the aesthetic and functional integrity of floors across various client locations, including corporate offices, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions. As a Floor Tech at ABM, you will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and be a part of a team that values sustainability and superior service. Perform routine and comprehensive floor care including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing. Operate a variety of floor care equipment and tools including auto scrubbers, floor machines, wet and dry vacuums, and carpet extractors. Inspect floor conditions and determine appropriate techniques and products for maintenance. Follow safety guidelines and procedures related to storage and use of chemicals and equipment. Maintain inventory supplies and submit orders for restocking as necessary. Record maintenance and repair activities for compliance and tracking purposes. Knowledge of standard techniques and practices for floor care and cleaning. Ability to handle various types of floor care equipment. Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent results. Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients.
