Job Description:

motivated and dedicated Student Assistant 2 Support Staff member to
join our team for the Academic Year. Our department is committed to
fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment, which
you will play a vital role. You will support ANSEP staff with
general maintenance of the ANSEP Building, as well as ANSEP
students in accessing our facilities. This position works closely
with the ANSEP University Success Director and the ANSEP Building
Manager to help with set up and execution of various activities and
events at the ANSEP Building. Currently Seeking Coverage for these
Proposed Schedules/Shifts (Subject to Change): Monday 6pm/7 pm - 11
pm Tuesday 6 pm - 11 pm Thursday 5pm - 11 pm Friday 3pm - 11 pm
Saturday 3pm - 10 pm Sunday 8am - 10 pm To excel in this role, you
must be able to perform tasks with minimal supervision, be able to
understand and apply the ANSEP Building policies, and maintain a
professional attitude at all times. Your ability to work well with
others and adapt to various student needs make you an ideal
candidate for this position. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants
must be 17 years or older Be currently enrolled in the University
of Alaska system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current
semester of employment; or Have been enrolled the preceding
semester for six or more credit hours and demonstrate plans to
enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester for
employment between semesters; Have at least a minimum 2.0
cumulative grade point average (GPA). Experience working with rural
and/or Indigenous Alaska populations preferred Must be able to lift
or move 25 to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
Position Details: This position is located on the UAA campus in
Anchorage. This is a student position hired for the academic year.
