The company produced an average of 198 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2020. ConocoPhillips has major ownership interests in two of North Americas largest oil fields, both located on Alaskas North SlopeKuparuk, which the company operates, and Prudhoe Bay. Additionally, ConocoPhillips operates the Alpine Field and three satellites located on the Western North Slope. The company has an ownership interest in the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) and owns/operates the Polar Tankers fleet.DescriptionAlaska Finance is seeking technical and administrative support for the finance and tax functions. If you are selected for this role, you should be approachable, possess strong organizational skills, be flexible to support a changing work environment and a variety of assignments, and regularly re-prioritize competing tasks with limited supervision.Your responsibilities include:

  • Review Alaska On-line Public Notice System, identify, collate and communicate relevant notices
  • Assist with discovery for multiple litigation matters, including retrieving records, coordinating documentation review and tracking deadlines
  • Collaborate with outside counsel's paralegals (to process invoices, upload large documents and coordinate filing documents
  • Support tax appeals and litigation by calendaring and tracking deadlines, maintaining budgets and costs, assisting with PowerPoint slides and on-line information research and transcription
  • Organize and file case documents. May include file maintenance, case management plan updating, docket calendaring, check processing, and routine communications with clients, court clerks, outside counsel, and others
  • Perform research at various courts
  • Manage floor office supplies and office moves, prepare travel and expense reports, and distribute mail
  • Prepare and maintain "on-boarding" materials for incoming employees including office procedures, ergonomic evaluation, desk and office equipment, arranging initial safety training, badging, and other support as appropriate
  • Responsible for Document Records Management compliance
  • Support Business Continuity Plan for Finance
  • Coordination, logistics and hospitality for all external visitors to the floor
  • General floor admin duties such as securing calendars, managing facility work order requests,
  • Review and update e-mail distribution groups
  • Collaborate with IT to resolve issues with phones, computers, and printing equipment
  • Coordinate community service events such as United Way Day of Caring, and other company functions for supported groups
  • Provide back-up coverage on an as-needed basis for other Administrative Assistants
  • Other projects and/or ad hoc requestsQualifications:Basic/Required:
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as a permanent resident, refugee or asylee
    • 5 years of experience as an administrative assistant
    • Intermediate level proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
    • Are you willing (with or without reasonable accommodation) to receive and show proof of the COVID-19 vaccination, or ConocoPhillips' approved accommodation by date of hire?Preferred:
      • 3 years of experience handling legal administrative duties
      • Basic knowledge of SAP
      • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
      • Be able to set priorities and follow through on assignments with limited supervision
      • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to excel in a fast-paced environment
      • Builds positive relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals
