TheProject Billing Technician is responsible for promptly and
accuratelyprocessing of weekly, semimonthly, monthly and out of
scope bills in accordancewith NMS's accounting policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for customer billing, workwith operations to fix
labor and cost discrepancies.
- Review and reconcile appropriate backupto send to the customer
with the bill.
- Be familiar with all aspects of projectbilling in the Costpoint
system to load labor rates, calculate bills, reviewopen billing
detail and process bills per NMS standards.
- Prepare sales orders and firm fixedprice bills.
- Answer phone inquiries, research, solveissues, and email
project managers for clarification on billing issues.
- Assist with audit requests.
- Other duties assigned.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Minimum two (2) years of project billingexperience in a
computerized environment supplemented by additional years
ofcomputer work experience.
- Prior experience must include allrelevant project billing
functions in a computerized environment, includingmaintenance,
preparation, data entry, and reconciling accounts.
- Ability to establish credibility withall levels of management
and staff of the Company to which they are assigned.
- Advanced skillset with Excel and must beable to operate
calculators and PC keyboards by touch.
- Strong organizational skills with theability to set priorities
to assure deadlines are met.
- Results oriented with the ability torespond to the needs of the
department and Company.
- Associates Degree in Accounting orrelated field
- Prior experience using Deltek CostPointProject Billing strongly
- Knowledge of types of billing: FFP,T&E, Cost Plus, and
- Previous experience in a large, highvolume accounting

work to be done inside

Physical requirements:Employee is required to lift and/or move up
to 25 lbs. Frequently required tosit, stand, walk, use
hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel,crouch or
crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift.
