the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Seward, Alaska, 99664! Job Title:

Duration: Traveler's Choice for 26 or 13 weeks Shift: Variable -
4x12 or 3x12 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of
Long-Term Care experience License: Must have an active state
license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Previous travel
experience required Description: Must have an active license in
hand. Shifts will be either Days or Nights, depending on facility
needs at the time of the start date. The patient-to-nurse ratio is
1:20. First timers are not accepted for this position. Candidates
must have prior Long-Term Care experience. No on-call requirement.
Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs.
Travelers are not accommodated for block scheduling. Candidates
must be located at least 50 miles from the facility. RTO (Requested
Time Off) restrictions apply, with no more than 2 weeks of RTO
considered for a 26-week contract. Travelers must be willing to
work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving,
Christmas, New Year's). All RTO must be submitted with the
application. RTO will not be considered if requested after an offer
or after signing the contract. The facility is a Long Term Care
facility with a total of 40 staffed beds. Daily census is
approximately 40 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes
social services. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.
Common patient diagnoses may include dementia, Alzheimer's, and
physical impairments. Special procedures and unit details may
include Accuchecks, PEG tube feedings, and IV hydration as needed.
Required skills include oxygen administration, peripheral line
care, and adherence to isolation precautions. References will be
required, covering at least one year of employment in a comparable
specialty. Candidates accepting facility-provided rental vehicles
must provide a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for operating the
rental vehicle. Medical exemption documentation is needed if
Hepatitis B vaccination records are not available. 5 Benefits of
